Installing and Setting up Your eSIM
To ensure a successful installation and setup of your eSIM, follow these steps:
Check Device Compatibility and Unlock Status: Before installing an eSIM, ensure that your device is eSIM compatible and network unlocked.
Stable Internet Connection: Make sure you have a stable internet connection, preferably through WiFi, to enable a smooth download of the eSIM.
Choose Installation Method: You have two options to add an eSIM to your device: scanning the QR code or manually entering the installation details.
Accessing Your eSIM Details: Start by logging into your ESIM-Man account and accessing "MY ESIMS" to find the eSIM you want to install. Tap on the "DETAILS" button.
QR Code Installation: If you choose to install using a QR code, display the code on another device or print it for scanning.
Pixel Phone/Device Installation: To set up an eSIM on your Pixel phone/device, go to "Settings" and select "Network & Internet". Choose "Mobile Network" and tap on "ADD CARRIER".
Scan or Enter the Code: Scan the QR code or enter the code manually when prompted for installation.
Confirm Installation: Confirm the installation by tapping "START" and let the device automatically install the eSIM profile.
Activate Mobile Data and Roaming: After the profile is installed, ensure that Mobile data and roaming are activated.
Set Access Point Name (APN) (if required): If the eSIM installation page requires it, set the Access Point Name (APN) for the service to work. Go to the Mobile network settings and select "Access Point Names". Create a new APN by adding a name and entering the provided APN in the designated field. Select the newly created APN.
Connect to the Local Network: Once you have completed the steps, your eSIM profile will quickly connect to the local network.
