How do I install an ESIM-Man eSIM via a QR Code on my iOS device? 

Getting Started with eSIM on iOS Devices

Before setting up an eSIM on your iOS device, it’s important to ensure that your device is compatible with eSIMs and is carrier-unlocked. Follow the steps below to check compatibility and set up your eSIM.

Checking Device Compatibility

To check if your iOS device supports eSIMs, follow these steps:

  1. Open the ESIM-MAN app on your device.
  2. Tap on “MY ESIMS.”
  3. Select the desired eSIM.
  4. Tap on “VIEW INSTRUCTIONS.”
  5. Tap on “QR Code.”
  6. Tap on “SHARE QR CODE” and save the image.
  7. Exit the ESIM-MAN app and go to “Settings.”
  8. Tap on “Cellular” or “Mobile.”
  9. Tap on “ADD ESIM.”
  10. Tap on “USE QR CODE.”
  11. Tap on “Open Photos.”
  12. Select the saved QR CODE.
  13. Tap on “CONTINUE” twice.
  14. Wait for a few minutes for the eSIM to activate.
  15. Tap on “DONE.”

Once the eSIM is installed, you can add a label to the eSIM by following these steps:

  1. Tap on “SECONDARY.”
  2. Enter “ESIM-MAN” or your preferred label.
  3. Tap on “DONE.”
  4. Tap on “CONTINUE.”
  5. Select the PRIMARY LINE for calls and text messages.
  6. Tap on “CONTINUE.”
  7. Select the PRIMARY LINE for iMessage & FaceTime.
  8. Tap on “CONTINUE.”
  9. Select the ESIM-MAN eSIM for Cellular/Mobile Data.
  10. Ensure that “Allow Cellular Data Switching” is turned off.
  11. Tap on “CONTINUE.”

Once the setup is complete, the installation page will close, and your eSIM will be activated on your iOS device.

Accessing Data on your eSIM

To access data on your eSIM, follow these steps:

  1. Tap on your ESIM.
  2. Ensure that the eSIM is enabled by toggling “TURN ON THIS LINE” if needed.
  3. Check if data roaming needs to be enabled by viewing the ESIM instructions in the ESIM-MAN app.
  4. To enable or disable data roaming, toggle the setting accordingly.
  5. Go to “Cellular” or “Mobile” settings.
  6. Tap on “Cellular” or “Mobile Data” and select the eSIM.

Your eSIM should automatically connect to a supported mobile network. If you require further assistance or have any questions, please contact our support team.
