How do I install an eSIM on my Google Pixel device?

Setting Up eSIM on Your Google Pixel Device


To ensure a smooth setup process, it’s important to first check if your Google Pixel device supports eSIM. Follow the steps outlined in this article to determine compatibility.


If your Pixel device is eSIM-compatible and carrier-unlocked, you can proceed with setting up your eSIM. There are three installation methods available: Direct, QR Code, and Manual. Let’s explore each method in detail:

  1. Direct Installation Method:
    1. Launch the ESIM-Man app on your Google Pixel device.
    2. Tap on “MY ESIMS” and select the eSIM you want to install.
    3. Tap “INSTALL ESIM/ACCESS DATA” and then select the “DIRECT” option.
    4. Confirm the installation.
    5. Go to your device’s “SETTINGS”.
    6. Tap on “Network & Internet” and then select “SIMS”.
    7. Turn on the toggle buttons for “MOBILE DATA” and “ROAMING”.
  2. QR Code Installation Method:
    1. Go to your device’s “SETTINGS”.
    2. Tap on “NETWORK & INTERNET”.
    3. Select the “+” icon next to “SIMS”.
    4. Choose the option to “Download a SIM Instead”.
    5. Scan the QR code from the eSIM details in the ESIM-Man app.
    6. Tap “DOWNLOAD” to complete the installation.
    7. Go back to “SETTINGS”.
    8. Ensure the eSIM toggle button is turned on.
    9. Turn on the toggle buttons for “MOBILE DATA” and “ROAMING”.
  3. Manual Installation Method:
    1. Go to your device’s “SETTINGS”.
    2. Tap on “NETWORK & INTERNET”.
    3. Select the “+” icon next to “SIMS”.
    4. Choose the option to “Download a SIM Instead”.
    5. Tap “NEED HELP?” and select “ENTER IT MANUALLY”.
    6. Enter or paste the code from the eSIM details in the ESIM-Man app.
    7. Tap “CONTINUE” to install the eSIM.
    8. Go back to “SETTINGS”.
    9. Ensure the eSIM toggle button is turned on.
    10. Turn on the toggle buttons for “MOBILE DATA” and “ROAMING”.
