Getting Started with eSIM Installation
Welcome to the ESIM help desk! In this section, we will guide you through the process of installing an eSIM on your device. Before you get started, please ensure that your device is eSIM compatible and network unlocked. Additionally, make sure you have a stable internet connection, preferably WiFi, to avoid any interruptions during the installation process.
Two Ways to Add an eSIM
There are two methods to add an eSIM to your device: scanning the QR code or manually entering the installation details. You can choose the method that is most convenient for you.
Preparing for Installation
In order to prepare for installation, you will need to log in to your ESIM-Man account. Once logged in, navigate to MY ESIMS and locate the eSIM that you want to install. Tap on DETAILS, and then tap INSTALL ESIM/ACCESS DATA. This will allow you to proceed with the installation process.
QR Code Installation
If you choose to install the eSIM using the QR code, follow these steps:
- Go to SETTINGS on your device
- Tap on NETWORK & INTERNET
- Tap ADD or + icon next to MOBILE NETWORK
- Scan the QR code provided
- If prompted, add the confirmation code
Manual Installation
If you prefer to add the installation details manually, follow these steps:
- Select the Manual tab
- Copy the SM-DP+Address & Activation Code from the eSIM installation page
- Go to SETTINGS on your device
- Tap ADD or + icon next to MOBILE NETWORK
- Choose Enter Code Manually
- Enter the SM-DP+Address as shared on your eSIM installation page
Post Installation Setup
After successfully installing the eSIM, you need to perform the following setup:
- Turn on eSIM under MOBILE NETWORK
- Enable MOBILE DATA
- Enable DATA ROAMING (turn off primary line to avoid roaming charges)
- Set up an APN if required
Accessing Data
Once the eSIM is installed, you can access data using shortcuts on your device’s screens. Simply tap SETTINGS from the Access data steps to get started.
