How do I install an ESIM-Man eSIM via a QR Code on my Samsung Galaxy device?

Setting up an eSIM on your Samsung Galaxy device

Before you begin the setup process, it’s important to ensure that your Samsung Galaxy device supports eSIMs and is carrier-unlocked. Not all Samsung Galaxy devices are eSIM-compatible, so it’s essential to check this requirement.

Installing the eSIM

Follow these steps to install an eSIM on your Samsung Galaxy device:

  1. Open the eSIM-Man app on your device.
  2. Tap “My eSIMs” to view your available eSIMs.
  3. Select the desired eSIM from the list.
  4. Tap “View instructions” to access the installation instructions.
  5. Tap “QR Code” and take a screenshot of the QR code provided.
  6. Swipe down to access the quick settings panel and go to “Settings.”
  7. Tap “Connections” and then select “SIM manager.”
  8. Tap “Add eSIM” and choose “Scan QR code.”
  9. Select the gallery or photos icon to choose the screenshot containing the QR code.
  10. Tap “Done” and then “Add” to initiate the eSIM installation process.
  11. Wait a few minutes for the eSIM activation to complete.

Connecting to a mobile network

Once the installation process is complete, follow these steps to access data using the eSIM:

  1. Tap “Mobile data” on your device.
  2. Select the eSIM you installed.
  3. Check if data roaming needs to be enabled by referring to the instructions in the eSIM-Man app.
  4. Go back to “Connections” and tap “Mobile networks.”
  5. Toggle data roaming on or off, based on your requirements.
  6. Check if the Access Point Name (APN) needs to be updated by following the instructions in the eSIM-Man app.
  7. If there is text under the APN field, manually update the APN details.
  8. Go back to “Connections” and tap “Mobile networks” followed by “Access Point Names.”
  9. Tap “Add” and enter the new APN details as instructed.
  10. Set “eSIM-Man” as the APN’s label and leave the other fields blank.
  11. Tap the three-dot menu in the upper right corner and save the changes.

Your eSIM should automatically connect to a supported mobile network once the setup is complete.
