How do I check if my iOS device supports eSIM?

Determining eSIM Compatibility

To determine if your device is compatible with eSIM technology, you need to check if the device manufacturer has included an eSIM. This can be done by following specific steps on your iOS device. Start by opening the Settings app, tapping General, and then tapping About. Next, tap the Model Number until it changes to an AXXXX combination. Make sure that the Model Number of your device is not from a Chinese region. If it doesn’t match any of the China mainland, Hong Kong, and Macao devices, your device should be eSIM-compatible. Similarly, for the iPad, follow the same steps to check the Model Number. If it doesn’t match any of the China mainland, Hong Kong, and Macao variants, your iPad should be eSIM-compatible as long as it supports cellular functionality.

Keep in mind that the best way to confirm eSIM capability is to reach out to your device manufacturer, vendor, or primary carrier. They can provide you with accurate information about whether your device supports eSIM or not. If you are uncertain or have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact the support team for assistance.
