ESIM Installation and Data Access Guide for Samsung Galaxy Devices
Welcome to the ESIM Installation and Data Access Guide for Samsung Galaxy devices. Before proceeding with the installation, please note that not all Samsung Galaxy devices support eSIMs. It is essential to check if your device is eSIM-compatible and carrier-unlocked.
Follow the steps below to install an eSIM on your Samsung Galaxy device:
- Open the eSIM-Man app.
- Tap on “My eSIMs”.
- Select the eSIM you want to install.
- Tap on “View Instructions”.
- Tap on “Direct”.
- Tap on “Install eSIM”.
- When prompted, tap on “Allow”.
- Wait for the eSIM to activate.
Once the eSIM installation is complete, you will receive a confirmation message indicating that the eSIM has been successfully installed.
For proper connectivity, follow the instructions provided on the eSIM installation page.
To access data using your eSIM, follow these steps:
- Go to “Settings”.
- Tap on “Connections”.
- Tap on “SIM manager”.
- Tap on “Mobile Data”.
- Select your eSIM from the available options.
- Check if data roaming needs to be enabled by referring to the eSIM instructions.
- Go back to “Connections”.
- Tap on “Mobile Networks”.
- Toggle data roaming on or off as needed.
- Check if the Access Point Name (APN) needs to be updated by referring to the eSIM instructions.
- If the APN field is not empty, update the APN manually.
- Go back to “Connections”.
- Tap on “Mobile Networks”.
- Tap on “Access Point Names”.
- Tap on “Add”.
- Enter the new APN and a label for identification.
- Leave the other fields blank.
- Tap on the three-dot menu and save the settings.
Upon successful installation, your eSIM should automatically connect to a supported mobile network.
