How do I install an eSIM on Samsung Galaxy S20/S21 series device?

Installing and Setting Up an eSIM

Welcome to the user manual for installing and setting up an eSIM using our ESIM-Man system. This guide will walk you through the process of installing an eSIM on your compatible device. Before we begin, please ensure that your device is compatible and network unlocked. Additionally, a stable internet connection, preferably WiFi, is necessary to download the eSIM properly.

Adding an eSIM

There are two methods for adding an eSIM to your device: scanning the QR code or manually entering the installation details. Let’s explore each method in detail:

QR Code Installation Method

1. Log into your ESIM-Man account and navigate to My eSIMs. Select the eSIM you purchased.

2. On your device, go to Settings and tap on SIM card manager. Choose Add mobile plan.

3. Select ‘Scan Carrier QR code’ and align the QR code within the guided lines to scan it.

4. Once the eSIM plan is detected, tap on Add and follow the prompts to register the plan.

5. Turn on the eSIM under Mobile Network settings and enable Mobile Data. If required, enable Data Roaming and set up an APN.

Manual Installation Method

1. Log into your ESIM-Man account and navigate to My eSIMs. Select the eSIM you purchased.

2. On your device, go to Settings and tap on SIM card manager. Choose Add mobile plan.

3. Select ‘Scan Carrier QR code’ and then choose ‘Enter the code instead’.

4. Copy the SM-DP+ADDRESS and ACTIVATION CODE from the eSIM installation page.

5. Paste the manual installation information into the appropriate fields and tap on ‘Connect’.

6. Proceed with the same steps as in the QR code method to turn on the eSIM, enable Mobile Data and Data Roaming if needed, and set up an APN if required.

Accessing Data

Once the eSIM is successfully installed, you can access data through the shortcuts on your device’s screens. Simply tap the “Settings” button from the “Access data” steps to manage your eSIM connection.
