Activating an eSIM on your iOS device
If you have installed an eSIM on your iOS device but haven’t reached your destination country/region yet, there might be a chance that the eSIM gets stuck in the activating process. However, even if it shows “activating” or “activation failure,” the eSIM is fully installed.
The activation process will only complete when you arrive at your destination and are within the network coverage area. During this time, you can still use other features on your device that do not require a network connection.
Once you reach your destination and the device is within the network coverage area, the eSIM should activate successfully, and you can start using it.
