How do I know which eSIM is using data?

Checking the Selected eSIM for Data

Depending on your device’s operating system, there are different steps to check which eSIM is currently selected for data usage. In this section, we will walk you through the process for iOS, Android devices (excluding Samsung devices), and Samsung devices.

iOS

To check which eSIM is selected for data usage on iOS:

  1. Open the Settings app on your device.
  2. Tap on “Cellular” or “Mobile” (depending on your iOS version).
  3. Scroll down and tap on “Cellular Data”.
  4. You will now see the plan that is currently being used for data.

Android Devices (excluding Samsung devices)

To check the active plans of your eSIMs on Android devices:

  1. Open the Settings app on your device.
  2. Tap on “Network & Internet”.
  3. Scroll down and tap on “Mobile Network”.
  4. Here, you will find the active plans of your eSIMs.

Samsung Devices

If you are using a Samsung device, follow these steps to check the selected eSIM for data usage:

  1. Open the Settings app on your device.
  2. Tap on “Connections”.
  3. Scroll down and tap on “SIM Card Manager”.
  4. Scroll down further and check under “Preferred SIM Card” to see which line is selected under “Mobile Data”.

If you have multiple eSIMs installed, your device will display the available plans as long as they are “On” under “Cellular Plans” on iOS, use the eSIM label on Android, and display the selected line under “Mobile Data” on Samsung devices.
