Managing eSIMs on Your Device
If you no longer want to use an eSIM on your device, you have two options: you can delete it or temporarily disable it. This section will guide you through the steps to perform these actions on your device.
To delete an eSIM:
- Go to your device’s settings.
- Select Cellular or Mobile.
- Tap on the eSIM you want to delete.
- Select “Remove Mobile Data Plan.”
Please note that the label for the option to remove an eSIM may vary depending on the device you are using. It could be labeled as “Remove eSIM” or “Delete Mobile Plan,” for example.
To temporarily disable an eSIM:
- Navigate to your device’s settings.
- Select Cellular or Mobile.
- Look for the option to “Turn on/off this line.”
By selecting this option, you will disable the eSIM temporarily. You can re-enable it later when you decide to use it again.
Important: The validity of an eSIM cannot be paused. Even if it is temporarily disabled, the eSIM will still expire after its validity period.
