Can I receive phone calls on my primary number?

Using Dual SIM and eSIM

If your device supports both a SIM and an eSIM, you can receive calls on your primary number. iPhones with Dual SIM Dual Standby (DSDS) technology can have both a physical SIM and eSIM active at the same time. However, the number of active eSIMs allowed depends on the iPhone model.

For iPhone 13 Pro Max, iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 13, and iPhone 13 mini, you can have either two active eSIMs or a nano-SIM and an eSIM. On the other hand, for iPhone 12 models, iPhone 11 models, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and iPhone XR, only one eSIM can be active at a time.

It’s important to note that data roaming charges may apply to call services, depending on your carrier provider. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact support.
