Using the Data Saver Feature
Android devices have a feature called Data Saver that lets users control which apps can access data in the background or foreground. Background apps use up a lot of data, so managing their access can help save on data usage.
Samsung Galaxy Devices:
To use the Data Saver feature on Samsung Galaxy devices, follow these steps:
- Open the Settings app on your device.
- Tap on “Connections.”
- Tap on “Data Usage.”
- Tap on “Data Saver” to turn it on.
You can also specify which apps can use data while Data Saver is enabled. To do this, follow these steps:
- Tap on “Allowed to use data while Data saver is on.”
- Toggle the switch for each app to allow or restrict its access to data.
Google Pixel Devices:
To use the Data Saver feature on Google Pixel devices, follow these steps:
- Open the Settings app on your device.
- Tap on “Network & Internet.”
- Tap on “Data Saver” to activate it.
To specify which apps can use data while Data Saver is enabled, follow these steps:
