Installing and Setting Up Your eSIM<\/H3><\/p>\n

Before you can install and set up your eSIM, there are a few key concepts to keep in mind. First, make sure that your device is eSIM compatible and network unlocked. This will ensure a smooth installation process. Additionally, having a stable internet connection, preferably WiFi, is essential for downloading the eSIM properly to your device.<\/P><\/p>\n

There are three different methods for installing an eSIM on your device: the direct method, the QR code method, and the manual method. In this article, we will guide you through the QR code and manual methods, which are commonly used.<\/P><\/p>\n

Preparation<\/H3><\/p>\n

Before you begin the installation process, you need to log in to your ESIM-Man account and navigate to the “MY ESIMS” section. Locate the eSIM you want to install and tap the “DETAILS” button. From there, select “INSTALL ESIM\/ACCESS DATA” and then click on the “MANUAL” tab. Take note of the SM-DP+ Address and Activation code, as you will need them later.<\/P><\/p>\n

Installation – Manual Method<\/H3><\/p>\n

To install the eSIM using the manual method, follow these steps:<\/P><\/p>\n

  1. Go to your device’s “SETTINGS” and tap on “CELLULAR” or “MOBILE”.<\/li>\n
  2. Select “Add CELLULAR PLAN” or “Add MOBILE DATA PLAN”.<\/li>\n
  3. Choose the option to “ENTER DETAILS MANUALLY”.<\/li>\n
  4. Enter the SM-DP+ Address, Activation Code, and Confirmation Code (if available).<\/li>\n
  5. Select a label or customize a label for your eSIM.<\/li>\n
  6. Under the “Default Line” page, choose your eSIM for “CELLULAR DATA ONLY”.<\/li>\n
  7. Your new eSIM should now appear under your Cellular Data or Mobile Data Plans.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Installation – QR Code Method<\/H3><\/p>\n

    To install the eSIM using the QR code method, follow these steps:<\/P><\/p>\n

    1. Go to your device’s “SETTINGS” and tap on “CELLULAR” or “MOBILE”.<\/li>\n
    2. Select “Add CELLULAR PLAN” or “Add MOBILE DATA PLAN”.<\/li>\n
    3. Scan the eSIM QR code using a printed QR code or another device.<\/li>\n
    4. If prompted, enter the 4-digit confirmation code.<\/li>\n
    5. Choose a label or customize a label for your eSIM.<\/li>\n
    6. Under the “Default Line” page, select your eSIM for “CELLULAR DATA ONLY”.<\/li>\n
    7. Your new eSIM should now appear under your Cellular Data or Mobile Data Plans.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Accessing Data<\/H3><\/p>\n

      Once you have successfully installed your eSIM, it’s important to make necessary adjustments for connecting as required. To access your data, follow these steps:<\/P><\/p>\n

      1. Go to your device’s “SETTINGS” and tap on “CELLULAR” or “MOBILE”.<\/li>\n
      2. Tap on your newly installed eSIM plan.<\/li>\n
      3. Turn on the line for your eSIM and enable DATA ROAMING.<\/li>\n
      4. If necessary, tap on “CELLULAR DATA NETWORK” or “MOBILE DATA NETWORK” and enter the APN (access point name).<\/li>\n
      5. Go back to “SETTINGS” and select your eSIM for “CELLULAR DATA” or “MOBILE DATA”.<\/li>\n
      6. To avoid charges on your other line, turn off “ALLOW CELLULAR DATA SWITCHING”.<\/li>\n
      7. Select the supported network in your eSIM settings.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
